US actor Mark Blum dies from coronavirus

US actor  Mark Blum, a familiar face off Broadway, has passed away due to coronavirus complications.

The stage and screen actor died in Manhattan at the age of 69 with the actor Lee Wilkof, a close family friend, quoted by the media as saying the cause was complications of the coronavirus.

Blum was a well-known figure in the Off Broadway. An off-Broadway theatre is any professional theatre venue in Manhattan, New York City smaller than Broadway theatres.

Mark Jeffrey Blum was born on May 14, 1950, in Newark. He made his feature film debut in 'Lovesick' (1983) and has a recurring role on the first season of the series 'You'. His other credits include 'Crocodile Dundee' and 'The Presidio'.

The actor is survived by his wife and fellow actor Janet Zarish.
